Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

This advanced creative writing workshop  aims to guide the writer to polish their technique and individual style in search of a writing voice that is strong and unique. We will continue to examine and re-examine the story structure and the elements of creative writing. Focusing on works in progress this will include:

• An exploration into the elements of storytelling including: character, conflict, scene and sequel etc

• Finding your writing voice

• Appreciation of literature: contemporary and classic short stories

• Writing exercises: varied and related to topic discussion

• Peer critique

• Group discussion

• Publishing and competitions
